With a wide variety of financial experience and expertise accumulated during a nearly four-decade professional career, Robert Press brings clients and contacts a broad-based, sophisticated understanding of business development, corporate finance, debt/equity structures, and investment banking. As founding partner at TAP Financial Partners, a boutique merchant bank, he focuses on building capital structures for small and medium-sized businesses that enable growth and development while safeguarding the interests of ownership.

Mr. Press’ diverse background includes extensive consulting and senior-level experience with small & medium cap lending, structured finance, asset-backed lending, supply chain finance, securitizations, mergers and acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, alternative investments, merchant banking, private equity, and hedge funds in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. 

A graduate of Brandeis University (B.A., Economics), Mr. Press has a long history as a philanthropist and difference-maker for charitable organizations both large and small.
